Create

niblet apps init weather-strip \
  --name "Weather Strip" \
  --author "Your name" \
  --summary "A compact forecast"

The app ID is stable and lowercase. Choose it carefully; public metadata can be updated later, but the app ID does not change.

Iterate locally

cd weather-strip
niblet serve .
niblet apps validate .
niblet apps preview . -o preview.webp

Push a revision

niblet auth login
niblet apps push .

push loads the manifest and source, renders a new local WebP, creates the developer project when necessary, and uploads the exact source-image pair. It prints the revision ID and SHA-256 digest.

Submit that revision

niblet apps submit <REVISION_ID>

Submission does not publish directly. A reviewer sees the immutable source and the WebP that you generated locally. If changes are requested, edit locally and push a new revision; the previous revision remains unchanged.
