Is Niblet compatible with Pixlet apps?

Niblet preserves the core Starlark, widget, schema, font, animation, and 64×32 runtime model. Apps tied to Tidbyt-only services, credentials, or private APIs may need changes.

Does Niblet Cloud run my source while I edit?

No. Source editing, validation, preview, and developer rendering happen on your system. Cloud stores a revision only after niblet apps push.

Can an AI assistant build the app for me?

An agent can edit files and run the Niblet CLI on your system. The remote MCP server itself does not accept source or render jobs.

Can MCP control my display?

Yes, after explicit OAuth authorization. It can manage apps, order, brightness, schedules, scenes, and firmware controls. Wi-Fi and app credentials remain out of scope.

Does submission publish immediately?

No. Submission starts review of one immutable source-and-preview revision. Approval and catalog release remain separate decisions.

Is app hosting free?

The developer preview includes bounded free project and source quotas. Final public pricing, quotas, and service commitments can change before launch.

Is Niblet affiliated with Tidbyt?

No. Niblet is an independent project. Tidbyt names are used only where needed to explain compatibility or migration.
